What would be possible in your life if you were free of Judgement?
Judgment stops all creativity, because nothing that doesn’t match your judgment can enter your awareness. Judgments not only include the most obvious such as, “What an ugly dress!” but can also be more subtle.
In fact, every time we make a conclusion or arrive at what we think is an answer, a judgment is required. And if we know all the answers already, there is no room for creativity or for the world to surprise us.
What else is possible?
Consciousness is the ability to be present in your life in every moment without judgment of you or anyone else. It’s the ability to receive everything, to judge nothing, and to allow the entire universe to be what it is.
If you have no judgment of anything, then you get to look at everything for what it is, not for what you want it to be, not for what it ought to be, but just for what it is.
From this space you can transform and change all things and create everything you desire in life—greater than what you currently have and more than what you can imagine.
Isn’t your life your greatest creation, whatever your line of work? Would you like to make it a more beautiful creation?
How much creativity, for your art or your life, could you free up by eliminating those judgments? How much more ease would you have in life then?
So how do you get out of judgment?
One way to get out of judgement is to remind yourself vigorously and repeatedly that every point of view you have is not significant or true, but no more important than “just an interesting point of view.”
Another thing to acknowledge is that you cannot judge anything without having been it or done it at one time or another. Otherwise you would have no grounds to judge it or any opinion about it.
So when you find yourself being repulsed by something, you might just humble yourself by reminding yourself that sometime, somewhere, you did that or were that, too.
If you’re having trouble identifying when you are judging, ask yourself: What if nothing is right or wrong, good or bad, positive or negative? Is judgment required to make something right or wrong, good or bad? If you’re like most of us, then this could give you plenty of judgments to work on eliminating.
Finally, for the judgements that really hold you back because they have a lot of emotional charge for you, getting a facilitated Access Judgement Process can make all the difference.
What is Access Judgement Processing?
Access Judgement Processing is a facilitated verbal processing technique for eliminating the emotionally-charged judgements you have around ideas, situations or people.
Once you have decided which judgement you carry is limiting you the most (for example, your judgement of your boss is keeping you from getting a promotion), then we will rapidly run through a sequence of phrases to help you process out all the emotions, assessments, conclusions, attitudes and opinions you have about that person, situation or idea.
This will greatly reduce, if not eliminate, the way in which your points of view hold back your creativity, upset you emotionally, and limit new possibilities from showing up in your life.
Some people choose to be facilitated out of judgement for every single person in their life over the course of several sessions. Imagine what would be possible for you if you were in complete allowance and acceptance of everyone in your family, social circle and work network!
